Record date of the revised interim dividend

While the meeting of the board of directors of the Company has been postponed from the date previously prescribed. “As a result, the record date for the payment of the interim dividend, if declared by the Board of Directors at the above meeting, will now be Saturday February 12, 2022 instead of “Wednesday 9 February 2022,” the filing reads.

Previously, the ex-date of the interim dividend, if announced, was February 8, 2022.

Shree Cement last year’s dividend record

The company in the financial year ending in 2021 paid a 600% dividend amounting to Rs. 60 as its final dividend for the financial year. At the current price of Rs 25,037.20, this translates into a dividend yield of 0.24%.

Prior to that, the company for the financial year ending in 2020 announced an interim dividend of Rs. 110 per share.

In the quarter ended September, the company’s net profit narrowed sequentially to Rs. 577.7 crore from Rs. 661.72 crore in the previous quarter. However, net profit increased YoY by Rs. 547.25 crores during the Q2FY21 period.
