Specifically, the recently announced experience benefits from a collaboration between the iconic five-piece group and US publisher Epic Games, on what appears to be a virtual interactive project aimed at PlayStation fans and Radiohead in particular. It’s unclear what this new PS5 project will entail. Of course, fans of the band will recognize the track – Kid A Mnesia – as it is obviously an amalgamation of two of Radiohead’s popular albums: 2000’s Kid A and 2001’s Amnesiac.
In the trailer, we also get a glimpse of Everything In Its Right Place, which is Kid A’s opening track, as the camera pans and looks at a mysterious pyramid object while glimpsing the spooky artwork of Stanley Donwood from the covers of the above. records flashes on the display.
Likewise, the pyramid object featured in the new video is likely a nod to Amnesiac’s debut single: Pyramid Song, which managed to reach seventh on the UK charts in 2001.
