CMF Company today announced that its Board of Directors has elected Mark Douglas as President and Chief Executive Officer of FMC, effective June 12020. Pierre Brondeau will continue to act as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer until May 31, 2020date on which he will become executive chairman and remain a member of the board of directors.

“Mark was elected following a careful and thorough evaluation by the board of the experience, background and leadership qualities needed to lead FMC,” Brondeau said. “He has been a trusted partner during a time of significant change. Over the past decade, Mark has been engaged in every major decision and strategic action we have taken to transform FMC into a high-growth agricultural science company. His more than 30 years of global experience His commercial and operational experience in the chemical industry, including most of the past 10 years leading FMC’s agricultural business, makes him an ideal candidate as the next CEO. Brondeau added.

Douglas becomes president and CEO-elect of FMC, effective today. He will work with Brondeau and the board over the next five months on an orderly transition. The board expects to nominate Douglas for a directorship when the April 2020 annual meeting of shareholders.
